Within the walls of the Kyiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design, the original Ukrainian art school of decorative and applied arts and design, which is the basis of modern Ukrainian culture, is being established.

Honored Artist of Ukraine, Professor Peter Pechorny, People’s Artists of Ukraine, Professor Sergei Nechiporenko, Nikolai Popov, Nikolai Stratilat; Honored Artists of Ukraine Natalia Litovchenko, Sergei Odaynik, Oksana Poltavets-Guida, Nikolai Bilyk, Julius Skakandi, Valery Fedichev, Honored Artists of Ukraine, Professors Nina Veligotskaya, Elena Vladimirova, Valentin Sergeev, Leonid Sotnik, Vasily Chebanik. By the way, for two years on the basis of the institute a unique festival “Ruthenia” is held, which covers the art of calligraphy of the East, Asia, the Latin West, Ukraine and Russia.

The works of pupils and teachers are kept in museums in Germany, Australia, the USA, Canada, Italy, Poland, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Japan, Syria, the Czech Republic and other countries. Teachers and graduates of the school are the authors of numerous works of art, their compositions decorate the interiors of the palace “Ukraine” of the National Library named after Vernadsky, Kiev railway station, metro stations “Golden Gate” “Minsk” metro station ” Khreshchatyk “(ceramic panels), Kiev Museum (triptych” Holodomor “). Among the teachers of the institute there are those who participated in the revival of Kiev shrines: St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedral, the Assumption Cathedral of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, the monument to Princess Olga, Yaroslav the Wise; authors of monuments to Vladislav Gorodetsky, Leonid Bykov, park sculptures.

List of exams for full-time and part-time study:

drawing – plaster head, A-2 format, 9 academies. time. (Two days of 4.5 hours.); painting – complex still life, A-2 format, 12 academies. time. (Three days for 4 hours.) Composition – 1 task on a given topic (one day – 6 academic hours.) Ukrainian language and literature – assessment is counted according to the certificate of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment.

Enrollment in the places of the state order and under the contract on full-time and correspondence forms of training is carried out according to competitive system.

The cost of full-time and part-time tuition is determined by the terms of the contract.

General information

The National University of Food Technologies (NUPT) is the only higher technical educational institution in Ukraine that trains highly qualified specialists of different educational and qualified levels – from junior to master – in 44 specialties and 20 specializations for food, meat, dairy, pharmaceutical and other industries.

Every year at the National University of Food Technologies begins the training of specialists in new specialties and specializations, dictated by the requirements of the time and a scientifically sound attitude to the problems of nutrition of the population of Ukraine.

The National University of Food Technologies is an educational institution with a closed cycle of pre-university, step-by-step and postgraduate training and retraining of specialists.

The National University of Food Technologies, in addition to the basic higher education institution, includes 5 research institutes, two institutes of advanced training, 9 correspondence faculties and 12 technical schools and colleges located in different cities of Ukraine.

In total, 35,000 students and listeners receive knowledge in the educational complex of the National University of Food Technologies. About 100 doctors of sciences and professors, 420 candidates of sciences are involved in the educational process. Among them are 18 members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and branch academies, 13 laureates of the State Prize of Ukraine, 14 honored workers of science and technology and educators.

At the service of students – a scientific and technical library, which is located in a separate building and has more than 1 million 210 thousand. copies of printed publications, canteens and cafeterias, student sports and health camps in Koncha Zaspa, the Black Sea and the Carpathians, a campus uniting six dormitories, an educational and sports complex with a modern swimming pool.

The National University of Food Technology has created all the conditions for creative and physical development of students. There are numerous amateur art groups, creative teams, sports sections, the Center for Cultural and Aesthetic Education.

The National University of Food Technologies trains specialists in the following educational and qualification levels:

bachelor – on the basis of the received full general secondary education (term of training – 4 years for full-time and 4.5 years for correspondence forms of training); bachelor – on the basis of the received OKU of the junior specialist (term of training – to 3 years for full-time and correspondence forms of training); specialist – on the basis of the received OKU bachelor (term of training – 1 year); master’s degree – on the basis of the received OKU bachelor (term of training – 1 year); master’s degree – on the basis of the received OKU of the specialist (term of training – 1 year).

Persons enrolling in educational and professional bachelor’s programs on the basis of the received OKU junior specialist of the relevant direction for training in reduced training periods are accepted for the first (under the reduced program) or senior courses (for the program with the standard training period ).
